Full Moon Jam - September 2013

One of the most important things a photographer needs to be is adaptable, to have a kind of photo savoir faire. So when I go to an event where its pitch black, I’m told I can’t use flash, the only light are from quickly spinning torches, and the fastest lens I have is a 2.8, its like an exciting challenge to see how I’m going to get the shot. Now don’t get me wrong, if this was for a client I would make some major changes before I resorted to shooting at a super grainy ISO. But for my own fine art work, Their are times where a little grain or motion blur can make an even more interesting photo.

So tell me about a time when you’ve been limited photographically but still got a great shot?
