A casual walk down 3rd street in Newport might have proved to be more interesting than expected if you were out by Arnie's on the 14th. The Cupid’s Undie Run took place this weekend. As the name might imply it is a one mile run in your underwear. As much fun as that sounds by itself it was done for a great cause. Money raised from the event benefits the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The supporters were out with great enthusiasm. Even with the strong winds, cold temperatures, and snow falling they pushed through and completed the run. The event was a great success, anytime you combine a great cause with a fun event count me in.
